The Jersey “HOGs around the Rock” returns in September 2016.  This is a biennial event that is targeted at the discerning HOG member who likes a little comfort and the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy a few days in a unique location.
Jersey is a small island (9 miles by 5 miles) with around 350 miles of
roads and country lanes that are often narrow and winding.  Speed is not something that you can push on the island roads but then why would you when you either have lovely sea vistas or countryside to look at.
With a population of just over 100,000, a vibrant Finance industry which means that accommodation is usually very good and the restaurants are both plentiful and of superior quality.  Being surrounded by sea means that seafood is a norm, but those meat eaters can still get their teeth into great steaks.

The HOGs around the Rock rally will be a boutique event and as such you’ll thoroughly enjoy yourself and get to know everyone that attends.  The rally will be based upon riding around the island taking in some of the island’s unique history.  Several opportunities will be available to visit the extensive German WW2 sites, a definite “must do” for your diary.

As an added bonus, the rally will kick off the day after the Jersey International Air Festival, arguably one of the finest and the largest free air displays in Europe.  Alongside the air display itself, this event also boast major static displays of the aircraft.  The whole afternoon is devoted to flying craft showing off their capabilities culminating in the Red Arrows grand finale.

We’re going to try and fit in: an evening ride to enjoy the sunset over the sea, rides to various historic locations, a day of riding the lanes to conclude with a ride around the coast of Jersey.  In the evenings we’ll hold an impromptu gathering as well as a fun evening of music and a buffet dinner.

So if you like a hotel to stay in, slow speeds to see everything and a chance to meet some like-minded people - then the HOGs around the Rock is the event for you to attend.

Registration Form Itinerary
If anyone is thinking of coming over to attend this event, the ferry company (CONDOR) appears to have sold out of all motorbike spaces already between Tuesday before and Tuesday after.
HOWEVER, we've been in touch with them and they've agreed to substantially increase the bike spaces but you need to call a special number (which may also get you 10% off).
Therefore, get in touch with us if you want to come but haven't booked and we'll share the contact details with you
